WUTC Participation in Federal Energy Regulation and Policy

The ability of Washington’s utilities to provide cost-effective and reliable electricity and natural gas service to retail customers is affected by federal energy and regulatory actions and policies. The WUTC frequently participates in cases and rulemaking at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to represent the interest of Washington energy consumers.
