Jigsaw Puzzle

Welcome to our Operation Lifesaver Puzzle Page. On this page you can assemble a jigsaw puzzle that also teaches a safety lesson. You need to have a SHOCKWAVE program on your computer so you can drag the puzzle pieces. If you don't have the program, you can get it for FREE by downloading it from Macromedia Shockwave below. Just click on the "Get Shockwave" button and follow the instructions. After you download SHOCKWAVE into a file, quit your browser and then go to the downloaded file and double-click on it to install it in your browser. After installation, reopen your browser to this puzzle page. When the puzzle appears below on this page it's ready to go. Have fun!

Get Shockwave

Now that you've assembled the puzzle, the lesson is clear isn't it? If you're on a railroad bridge and a train is coming you have two choices:
    (1) JUMP, or
    (2) GET HIT BY THE TRAIN
Not very good choices are they? Remember . . . always stay off railroad bridges. Besides being against the law, it's very dangerous. There are no sidewalks and not enough room for a person when a train is there! Every year, people are injured and killed because they didn't realize the danger of trespassing on railroad bridges.
