The Commission filed a Proposed Rulemaking (CR-102) with the Code Reviser's Office on June 4, 2008, on a final draft of proposed rules in WAC 480-07, relating to procedural rules. The proposal would "clean up" certain procedural rules in WAC 480-07, and modify the agency's open meeting and delegation rules to allow for a more efficient open meeting process and to address some concerns in the delegation rules in order to promote efficiency in the conduct of business before the Commission. The Commission invites written comments on the proposed rules by Wednesday, July 9, 2008. The Commission has set an adoption hearing for Thursday, August 14, 2008, at 1:30 p.m. at UTC headquarters in Olympia. (Docket A-072162, see "Documents" link below for more information).
